Tianhe Software is a high-tech enterprise in the Industry 4.0 field created by the Tsinghua Department of Machinery under the guidance of the National (863 Plan). As a safe and reliable provider of industrial software and cloud applications, Tianhe Software has been deeply involved in industrial software for nearly 30 years. Its independently developed industrial software products and cloud services cover the fields of CAD, CAPP, PLM, and digital twin factories, with over a hundred independent intellectual property rights products in three major series. Tianhe Software has successfully served thousands of enterprise level users in strategic industries such as aerospace, weapons and military industry, high-speed railway locomotives, shipbuilding, and power plant energy equipment, as well as over 300000 industry users.

Tianhe Software is one of the earliest professional companies engaged in mechanical CAD research and development in China. It is a standard setter in the Chinese manufacturing CAD software industry and has participated in the development of national and international standards for some software. And jointly established the "Industrial Software Research Institute" with Ningbo University, gathering a group of experts in the field of industrial software to continuously research and develop, tackle key technologies of design software, and accelerate the process of industrial software localization. The company's products were selected as "Excellent Industrial Software Products" by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in 2022, "Guiding Catalogue for the Application and Promotion of Software Products in Zhejiang Province in 2022", and the first version of software products in Ningbo City.
